Shipping Policy
1) Processing
All orders are processed as follows:

Transactions paid via EFT online will only be processed and shipped after 7 working days after the amount has cleared in our account.

Transactions paid via card in store will only be processed and shipped after 7 working days after the amount has cleared in our account.

Transactions paid via cash in store will only be processed and shipped after 7 working days unless it is Cash on Collection.
2) Delivery
You can expect to receive your item(s) within 1 – 7 business days after your order has been processed for local deliveries.
Delivery may take up to 14 business days for remote areas.
Orders that are personally delivered(Local Deliveries) are not package beforehand. Orders that are sent through the courier are always wrapped and packaged before collected, this wrapping fee is included in the amount showed on checkout.
Items that are collected are not wrapped or packaged either. Should you send your own courier they need to package the items themselves OR
a wrapping fee will be charged if you request that we wrap the items for you. See (2.2)
Please note that we make use of external courier services that are not affiliated with us. For this reason:

We cannot provide you with a specific delivery/collection time.

Drivers do not call or WhatsApp upon delivery and/or collection.

Deliveries/collections do not take place over weekends or public holidays.
2.1) Economy Delivery via External Courier Companies
This service is subject to orders placed which are not time sensitive and/or which are not close to a main centre/origin of shipping. Delivery may take place between 36 hours – 120 hours based on terms and conditions of The Courier Guy and Inter Town Transport Couriers.
2.2) Alternative courier services (arranged by the customer)
Please note that if you arrange your own couriers to collect your parcel(s) from our store, it is your responsibility to provide us with the necessary contact details to release parcel(s) and to ensure a waybill is provided and/or collection pin. Parcel(s) will only be released if the amount has reflected into our account. It is your responsibility to ensure your courier packages your items. If we need to wrap and package your items we charge a wrapping fee dependent on the set in order to cover stationary and materials. Additionally its your responsibility to ensure you have the needed insurance cover for damage or loss of items event if we package the items. We wont take responsibility for items damaged by your own courier services even if we packaged items on your behalf as it wont be covered under our insurances. Thus we recommend you make use of our courier option.
3) Collection
If you would prefer to collect your package from our physical shop, please indicate this on our:

If you request a manual invoice, please communicate clearly on email via info@theplaypit.co.za or call us on 0721872754/0187712218 and we will happily arrange this for you.
All communication that took place on our facebook page or our personal facebook marketplace profile will be reverted to further communication via email.
4) Shipment Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been approved with a follow-up email from our sales representative to confirm shipment and the arrangements thereof.
5) Order Tracking
If you have not received your package after 14 business days, please contact us at info@theplaypit.co.za and we will notify you of your delivery status.
6) Returns
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
